1. Explore Vinpearl Aquarium
VinKE & Vinpearl Aquarium Times City is one of the most popular attractions at Times City. Covering nearly 4,000m², it resembles a miniature ocean within the ground. The Vinpearl Aquarium holds 3 million cubic meters of seawater and is home to over 30,000 marine creatures.
As Hanoi's first aquarium with a tunnel, Vinpearl Aquarium features 3 distinct zones with their own ecosystems:
1.1 Freshwater Zone – A mini Amazon rainforest: Visitors to the freshwater zone will feel as if they are wandering through the Amazon rainforest. Scenes that seem to be from movies are recreated realistically in this area. Tourists can see various freshwater fish like red arowana, stingrays, red-tailed catfish, paddlefish, and freshwater white sharks.
1.2 Reptile Cave Zone – Home to unique reptiles: After passing through the tropical rainforest in the freshwater zone, visitors enter the reptile cave to observe the life of various reptiles and amphibians such as golden pythons, lizards, monitor lizards, giant millipedes, and crocodiles. This zone also features familiar insects from the tropical ecosystem like tarantulas and emperor scorpions.
1.3 Saltwater Zone – Stunning underwater performances: The saltwater zone is a major draw for visitors, especially those curious about what Times City has to offer. In addition to a diverse marine life (corals, manta rays, devil fish, grouper, sawfish, and lionfish), this area hosts exciting activities like mermaid shows and feeding programs. Notably, Vinpearl Aquarium is the first place in Vietnam to have penguins, so visitors can see these charming creatures without traveling to Antarctica.
2. VinKE – An Educational Play Area for Children
VinKE covers a vast area of 6,000m², offering educational games that create a space where children can play and learn in a healthy environment.
2.1 Career Exploration Zone – Features realistic models such as a fire station, traffic police, special forces, VinKE hospital, junior chef, junior Robocon, magical laboratory, water balloon city, assembly workshop, and fashion star. Through these career simulation experiences, children gain foundational knowledge about different professions and can start thinking about their future careers.
2.2 Active Play Zone – A place for children to play energetically. The variety of active games at VinKE includes obstacles, slides, ball pits, and electric cars, catering to different ages and interests.
2.3 Game Machines Zone – A system of nearly 150 modern game machines providing relaxation and entertainment for kids and parents. Parents can feel at ease as the game equipment at VinKE meets international safety standards, allowing children to play safely.
Additionally, children can admire the colorful Koi fish pond. During holidays and festivals like International Children's Day and Mid-Autumn Festival, VinKE organizes exciting programs such as transforming into fairy tale characters, mask-making, baking, and making lanterns.
